The brick church of the Holy Trinity, in the classical style, was built in Newirkowi in 1807 at the expense of John Ensign and Barbara Olizar Stecki. In 1808 the church was consecrated by the bishop Casper Cieciszewskiego.
Until 1832 the temple belonged the Dominicans, after the November Uprising, the church was taken away from them. At the time of World War I, the temple was very damaged, but the parish priest Stanislaw Jadczak at his own expense and with the help of parishioners, began the restoration and building work, which were completed in 1927. At the time of World War II, the temple was a sanctuary for local Poles. After 1945, by order of Soviet power the church was closed, and at the present day is in ruins.
